I have the honor and privilege of teaching 23 amazing children from rural Indiana. These second graders are ready to be exposed to a plethora of learning avenues. I am ecstatic to guide them and help them!
My students are ready to challenge their minds through meaningful opportunities.
I want to be able to provide them multiple avenues of learning to excite their minds and encourage them to gain interest in the world around them. Please consider helping me in my quest to provide quality learning experiences for them!
My Project
What time is it? I hear this question many times throughout the school year leading up to our math chapter about telling time.
Telling time is an essential skill that will be used throughout life.
My students need support and choices in learning how to tell time on their own. I have chosen a variety of games and hands-on activities for the students to use. Additionally, I have asked for some gear turning clocks so the children can see how both hands will continue to move as time presses on. My project also requests activities for students to learn about what elapsed time is. Children need to learn this skill to tell how much time has passed or will pass until a specific event.
Please consider donating to our project so that we can have exciting, hands-on support in learning to tell time!
