My students need a variety of snacks for their hungry tummies.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Gibson's classroom raised $900
This project is fully funded
My Students
I have a very special group of students. My students come from disadvantaged homes and communities, yet, they still show up to school ready to learn. Even when the odds seem to be against them, they continue to work hard.
Our school serves students in grades Pre-K through 5th and many come from families who are not exposed to arts and crafts.
Our Pre-K classes operate just as a Kindergarten class would. They are hard workers and deserve the best. My students are destined for greatness!
My Project
Our Pre-Kindergarten students are at a huge disadvantage! The scholars eat breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and their lunch begins at 9:30 a.m., leaving them with about five hours between lunch and school dismissal at 3:00 p.m. Their tummies begin to rumble and they lose concentration. They need snacks to make it through the day!
I'm requesting Garden Veggie Straws, Snyders Old Fashioned Mini Pretzels, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, Honey Maid Lil' Squares Honey Graham Crackers, and Austin Zoo Animal Crackers.
Many of our students were affected by Hurricane Harvey and have not made a full recovery. Many of them only have school breakfast and lunch as their meals and this is the only food source to keep them through the day. With your help, our students will be able to have a small snack such as goldfish, animal crackers, and pretzels to keep their tummies from rumbling and their brains active!
