My students are the most loving and energetic 4 and 5 year olds in the building. They are greatly visual and auditory learners and I use video, music and photos as an avenue to engage, reinforce and support my student's learning.
I have a broken smart board in my class that makes reaching my visual and auditory students in the most effective ways extremely difficult.
I currently use what works of the broken smartboard and/or a small computer screen to display.
I will use the television to connect and monitor from my computer for various parts of the day, such as morning meeting videos, questions of the day, read alouds, slideshows and even visual activities for letter-sound correspondences. Technology such as this allows me to meet so many more students based on their needs.
