Diversity is ever present in my classroom of students. Our school is represented by over 40% free and reduced-price lunch. Our school is an "A" school and achieves this success despite any adversity. The students in my class need every opportunity to continue to compete in the 21st classroom required for today's learners.
What makes my classroom special?
Your children, my children, our children. Ultimately, our future. My students will one day have jobs that haven't even been invented, yet.
My Project
TIME for Kids magazine is a trusted name in educating students through the use of authentic non-fiction text. With authentic journalism tailored for students, I will be able to increase student engagement and support standards-based instruction daily.
TIME for Kids, as a resource in my class room, will strengthen and enhance instruction in all content areas.
In addition, my students will build on their ability to read non-fiction text through the rich journalism that is found in TIME for Kids. TIME for Kids magazine will expose my students to current events and relevant topics that will inspire them to explore further areas of specific interest.
By supporting my classroom you will impact my students' learning this year and the years that follow.
