My students come from a small community on the edge of a decently sized city. Many of the parents graduated from the same high school the students will attend, not too far in the near future. On the other hand, some of my students are new to the district or have moved back to the area recently.
They are all truly gifted in their own area of expertise.
I have students that beam creativity or are great problem solvers. I have students that are kind, respectful, honest, and generous. My passion is to take that gift and grow it into that child's greatest quality. My students are the future and I want to help them succeed!
My Project
What a better way to create a flexible seating work space than to use ClosetMaid 3-cube storage benches and a collection of comfy camping pillows. Books can be easily stored underneath and students can comfortable sit and work on the benches.
My campus is adopting a camping theme next year and these materials will help welcome my new students into my classroom.
I will use the animal cut-outs and posters to help incorporate that theme into my classroom. Supplies will be labeled with the materials provided as well as student work spaces. Oh, a camping adventure my students will go!
