Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a Title I school. I will be teaching 25 students in an Integrated Co-Teaching Classroom in the Bronx. All of the children receive free breakfast and lunch. The supplies that are requested will help all the children. In the classroom, 40% of the children are special education and 60% general education. The children range from ADHD, autism, Emotionally Disturbed, Speech and Language Disorders and general education These children just need someone who cares! Please help if you can!
My Project
These magazines will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My science/social studies library is a place that my students really enjoy - I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every TIME for Kids magazine that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. Students will be able to look at and read the magazines over and over. These magazines will keep them current on events that are happening in today’s society. Please consider donating to this classroom! Thanks again.
