This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are mostly English language learners who love to learn. They come from low income households. Despite where they come from, they will knock your socks off with their minds. My students can come up with the most amazing stories. They have hearts of gold and enjoy coming to school each and every day to learn something new.

My students love to read, tell stories, write stories, be creative, solve math problems, and create projects that will blow your mind.

There is never a task that my students will not accomplish.

My Project

My students need a subscription for Time for Kids. This will help my students learn about current events and past events.

This will help my students read different types of articles that are outside of their norm.

My students will be able to have fun reading new and interesting articles that we can talk about whole-class and in small groups. I will be able to quiz my students on what they are learning about too.

They will also be able to read these articles for science and social studies to help them learn more about what they know and what they do not know!
