This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Teaching young boys and girls is fantastic. Most of the children are economically disadvantaged and lack many things at home due to circumstances beyond their control. Despite all that has happened they are earger to begin the school year.

The children need to have some interesting reading materials to use at home.

Most of the children do not have personal books or reading material at home beside what they may get for homework and where is the fun in that.

My Project

The boys and girls would just love to have some interesting materials to read in school and especially at home. Time For Kids is just what the children want. These magazines also have wonderful activities for the children to complete.

Time For Kids will be used as a reading resource in the classroom and as leisure reading at home.

The interesting articles will keep the children highly engaged and eager to read. Depending on the topic, some of the Time For Kids will be used to reinforce reading skills and some will be used simply for the joy of reading.

If you love to see children enjoy reading then take a chance on a great bunch of kids. Your generosity will ensure that the children will have some engaging reading to take home.
