[Time For Kids] Time For The Future World Leaders!

My Students

My students are fun-loving little first graders eager to come to school and learn. Our classroom is an ICT classroom, which means 40% of the class population receive Special Education services and the other 60% are on the general education side. In addition to the related services received by my students I also have several students receiving English as a new language services. My students enjoy dancing their little hearts out to Pop Se Koo on GoNoodle & silly read alouds.

I absolutely adore my little ones and wish I had all the money in the world to enhance their classroom and learning experience to be the best they will ever have!

My Project

We are looking to incorporate Time For Kids (TFK) into our first grade classroom. TFK teaches children about current events in an age appropriate manner. Using Time for Kids gives us the ability to teach children about cultural diversity and how to address complicated news topics at an early age. This will give the children the tools they need to further their conversations about current events in an intellectual manner and spark an interest in the world they live in. TFK allows children to access cultures and how people live around the world, holidays, and science topics. We can discuss these topics, learn how to socialize while respecting other peers views. This subscription could truly benefit the children!

The students in our classroom are more than little first graders, they are future world leaders!

Lets give them the tools on how to be educated on the world and how to direct and discuss in an intellectual and respectful manner!
