Time for Kids Magazine for a Special Education Classroom

My students need an opportunity to learn about the things that are occurring in the world around them through Time for Kids magazine.

My Students

Bringing the world to my students weekly with TIME magazine for kids!

My students come from a high poverty area in Indiana.

They attend a public school. They are 4th to 6th graders who have moderate to severe disabilities. There are eight students in my classroom, and I have two amazing assistants. We work daily on academics, as well as life skills and behavior.

My Project

I am requesting 12 subscriptions for Time for Kids magazine to use in my classroom next fall. We are going to be studying the world around us the first semester of the school year. We will be "visiting" a country a week. We will look closely at the culture and what makes them the same and different as us. If we are able to get the Time for Kids magazine subscriptions we will be able to show them current happenings in the world around them.

Your donation will open their eyes to the world around them.

With these resources we will be able to not only look at the countries around the world, but also keep up with the events that are occurring.
