My Students

Bringing reading and writing to life is important! Allowing my students to create movies about prior reading and writing assignments will allow them to enjoy it even more. Students will create a movie about what parents are to expect for the upcoming year and Open House.

For 2010-2011, I will teach 3rd and 4th grade, high poverty students, English Language Arts and Social Studies.

My schools population is predominately African-American students coming from single-parent homes. These students only access to technology is at school.

My Project

Pinnacle Studio software will allow my class to bring their movies to life. Students will be able to use more of an imagination! Pinnacle Studio will allow the students to record a movie in the rain forest when they are in the classroom. It is so amazing!
