Help me give my students a way to give back to our community by letting them use our classroom knitting machines to make baby hats for the local hospital NICU.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Conklin's classroom raised $163

My Project
Our students have the heart and the motivation. They just need yarn!
We would like to use the classroom knitting machines to make baby hats for Einstein Hospital's NICU.
In order to do so, we need yarn.
Once we have yarn, we will take turns getting to use the two knitting machines that we already have in our room during our Life Skills period. We will knit until the tubes we create are big enough to tie and create a hat. When we have enough hats, we will deliver them to Einstein's NICU.
Many of my students were premies and spent their first days in the NICU. This would be our way of giving back to the community.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
