My students need ties for professional appearance. They will use these ties to give presentations and use them for the future.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
When you step into my classroom, you can instantly pick up on the positivity of each and every one of my students. They are motivated, determined, inspiring, and ambitious young men and women. Everyone in my classroom is striving to become bilingual or even tri-lingual. The atmosphere is a fun and safe environment where students are free to explore and expand their knowledge.
Students from all over the world sit in front of me each and every day.
My students are in their mid to late teens and recently came to the United States in hopes of a better life for themselves and their families. In addition to attending school daily, most of them also work thirty to forty hours a week after school. They always enter the classroom enthusiastic and motivated. My students are eager to learn, succeed, and make the world a better place
My Project
These ties will make a huge difference. Each student will be given a tie and taught how to tie it. After they learn how to tie it, they will wear it for a presentation that they will give in class and then be able to keep it for the future. This way, students will be prepared for professional, formal events such as graduation, job interviews, or college interviews. Not only will they be prepared with these events, they will feel prepared for these events mentally. Since they will already know how to dress and have the clothing to wear, they have already overcome the difficult part!
