Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our lives, technology has become a daily tool that we have embedded into our normal routine. This also applies to the students in my classroom. Students have had to learn the proper use of technology, digital citizenship, and how to be careful online. One component of borrowing our district laptops that is still very hard and frustrating for the students is technology care and organization.

My students want to be organized and take care of the devices we are borrowing, but we just don’t have the right tools to do it.

I have asked for a mail organizer that can be used to keep the laptops safe while not in use. I ordered cord wraps and hooks to keep the charging cords off the ground as well as headphone hooks to keep them safe while they are being stored away. Please consider donating to help these students learn an important skill of not only the proper care of technology, but also taking good care of things that don’t belong to them.
