This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their incredible mix of charm, humor, and intelligence. They are quick to make me laugh with their clever jokes and funny observations, but they also surprise me with their deep insights and creative ideas. They are curious about everything and love to share their thoughts—whether it’s about a new book they’re reading or a big idea they’re excited to explore. Their energy is contagious, and their ability to make connections between what they learn and the world around them is truly inspiring.

With such a vibrant group, staying organized is key to keeping our classroom running smoothly and allowing us to focus on learning.

Cubbies will give each student a designated space to store their books, supplies, and personal items. This will not only keep our classroom tidy but will also help my students develop important organizational skills. When students can easily access their materials and have a place to keep their things, they’re able to focus more on their learning and less on finding what they need.

Having cubbies will also promote independence and responsibility. My students will feel proud of their space, and it will encourage them to take care of their belongings. With everything in its place, we’ll have a clean and organized learning environment where creativity, laughter, and learning can flourish without distraction!
