Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, the shelves lack doors or drawers, making it difficult for me and my students to access items stored at the back. These items are not easily reachable and often out of sight, and retrieving them is challenging due to the other items in front. Additionally, we only have two stools, which all the students love using for painting and writing at the writing center. Since we don't have enough stools, they have to share them.
The donated items will provide my students with a tidy space that fosters strong learning minds.
The bins and file folders will keep the students' games and puzzles organized and in a designated area, making them easy to access by simply pulling out the bins. The stools will create a fun, engaging, and inviting environment for the students to work at the table. Promoting an organized, tidy, and engaging environment will help develop greater academic learners.
