My students are absolutely amazing. They come to school every day excited to learn and grow. Our school and team are a very special place; everyone is there for the same reason which is for the children.
My students come from all walks of life, but most of my students come from low-income households.
No matter what is going on in their lives, they all come to school with a smile on their faces and ready to learn. I want to give my students many opportunities they may not get at home.
My Project
Having a classroom vacuum would help our classroom stay clean. Between completing STEM activities, breakfast and snack times, and our daily science explorations, it is a challenge to keep our classroom floor clean when we do not have a vacuum of our own. We are asking to help fund our classroom vacuum so we are able to do the best we can to keep our classroom clean throughout the day while students are here. This vacuum would best fit our needs as it is cordless and will help keep the dust and allergens away too! We will be able to work, learn and explore while our classroom vacuum keeps our classroom tidy! With a new classroom vacuum it will also open up more time to our janitorial staff to ensure everything is sanitized and clean instead of worrying about a messy floor! It is in my student's best interest to keep the classroom as clean as possible during these crazy times.
