Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have made so much progress with requesting a break at our calm corner this year. I would love to upgrade this space for them for the upcoming school year.

The book shelves and storage containers would help give my students an organized space where they can access books and fidget toys to help them self-regulate.

The shelves would not only provide storage but also serve as room dividers to make a clear distinction from the calm corner to the rest of the classroom space. These materials will help me continue to provide my students with coping strategies.
