Help me give my students a chance to learn about keeping a clean and safe studio by keeping their art materials organized and tidy! We need storage options.
My students love creating works of art and having the freedom and responsibility of using materials they choose at their fingertips. My current classroom lacks storage that is accessible to students at all times, this donation to my classroom is my remedy for students to have ease with accessibility to their regular art materials.
The storage shelves would provide my students with a solution for individual cubbies where particular everyday art materials could live to teach my students responsibility of keeping a clean and organized studio space for safety reasons.
This donation also will teach students the importance of putting materials back where they belong in order to keep their studio organized and safe for everyone.
The shelves that are being donated will be at child level so they're shorter and have designated cubby spaces for each art material to live. Many of my students get super excited whenever they're able to pass out materials or go get materials on their own when creating an artwork. These shelves will give my students the opportunity to know where each material lives and has a proper home for them to use. They will enjoy being able to responsibly put items back in the proper place.
