My Project
If each group table has the board game “Ticket to Ride,” their interest in reviewing the map of North America will be sparked and engaged! I like to build a strong game culture in my classroom, as most of us, and especially youth, learn best when we are having fun and are fully engaged.
Additionally, playing educational games helps cement important life skills: playing fair, taking turns, winning and sometimes losing, collaborating, and even cleaning up when done—skills that some adults still strive to master :)
My family has enjoyed this game many times, and my seventeen year-old can tell you that it’s plenty challenging!
