This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Extrinsic motivation is a good form of motivation to my 6th Grade Science Guilders. I’ve been doing this since the beginning of the school year. Now, we are at the last leg of the school year and EOG preparation is getting intense through our relooping class. This Ticket for a Treat has been an effective reward system in my class since the start of the school year. It is something they look forward every Friday. I give them a ticket for every achievement or participation they have in my class and every Friday they exchange it for a treat(candy/chips/chocolate). I wanted to culminate my Science class this year with these treats and also a celebration of the success of their EOG tests.
