My Project

Every classroom needs ways to efficiently transition from one activity to the next whether it be from an active work cycle to lunch, or recess to dismissal, etc. A calm and pleasant but distinctive sound signal is my signal of choice.

This Tibetan singing bowl is a beautiful and peaceful way to signal those transitions.

Our Montessori classroom has a firm focus on social skills, respect, and peace education. Another connection is to our curriculum that delves into the study of continents and the social customs of different cultures on each. It is a fitting tie into Asian cultures.
