This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to use Graphing Calculators in my Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus classes. Graphing Calculators will allow students in my classroom the opportunity to enrich their mathematical knowledge and help make connections with different representations of mathematical models. It will help students calculate tedious computations in a timely fashion, easily create tables and graphs, make best-fitting regression models, analyze data, etc. much faster than doing it by hand. In addition, using calculators is a hands-on approach and for many students more appealing than paper and pencil. Please help fund calculators for my classroom to enhance learning.
