My Students

I am a second year teacher and am so excited to meet my class! I will be teaching first grade in a low-income school. I will have 2 classes this year, as I will only be teaching ELA/Social Studies. Because this is a low-income school, my students do not have much so anything can help! My students are sweet and ready to learn! They are friendly with each other and are very excited to make new friends. Thanks for getting to know my class!

My Project

Each of these materials will be extremely helpful to my students! I am in need of the organizer to help give my students a good way to turn in their work for various subjects. The fidget bands will allow my kids that can't sit still release some energy. This will allow them to focus more on their work, and less on moving around the classroom. Finally, the QBall will give my students a great, new way to share with each other. Many times, students are embarrassed or nervous to speak in front of their peers. This ball is a throwable microphone that we can toss to each other when it is someone else's turn to speak.
