Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our student needs assessments revealed a strong interest among most students in helping others, arts, STEM, and content creation. I intend to utilize this camera to offer students the chance to explore content creation while participating in diverse arts, SEL, and STEM activities. Providing them with access to a camera similar to those used by their favorite content creators will undoubtedly ignite their excitement and enthusiasm.

This holistic approach aims to foster not only creativity and technical proficiency but also empathy and understanding, preparing students for success in both their personal and professional lives.

The expected outcome is that students will gain insights into potential career paths, while also developing essential skills such as compassion towards others, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and self-awareness.
