Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Integrating technological tools across all academic areas helps ensure greater student engagement and collaboration. When my students interact with technology, they feel that they are in charge of their own learning. Adding a Math Listening center to my existing center rotation is a goal of mine and the Lakeshore All-In-One CD Player with Bluetooth will do just that. Students would be able to use our addition, subtraction, making 10 and numbers listening activities. The Hamilton Buhl Bluetooth/CD/FM Listening Center, 6 Station listening center will replace my current Listening Center that is not always reliable and where students' headphones are falling apart. This center would be used for my Literacy Listening Center where students will engage in Phonics, Phonemic Awareness, and Comprehension activities.
These Listening Centers will provide all my learners with the opportunity to revisit important skills, take ownership of their learning, and build self confidence.
The Pearington 10-Device USB Charging Station and Charging Cords will allow my students to safely store and charge their district issued iPads.
