This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This laptop will make a world of difference in our technology-driven world. This year, my students will be taking their state assessment (FAST test) on the computer. My students are new to this country and it will be the first time that they will be assessed in this manner. Therefore, it is my job to not only prepare them and teach them the math standards that they can practice using the laptop, but I must also prepare them for the computer-based format testing using the new laptop. This will give them the confidence they need as they work with technology.
Technology is essential to the way our students are learning and we must provide it in our classrooms if, we want to prepare them for the future.
