Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal for this project is to create a thriving environment with the necessities a student and teacher may need . The desk and the chair will be used for better ergonomics to execute lessons. This can help with back pain throughout the day. Staplers and scissors are a must with the activities and packets I incorporate in Biology to engage the students. The big calendar will be an attention getter and allow for students not to miss what we are working on.
Engagement is key for a thriving environment.
The big speaker will be used not only in the classroom for students to not miss out a word of their educational videos but also when I am coaching the basketball and track teams this upcoming year. The whiteboards allow for students to respond by writing their answers and lifting the whiteboard, thus allowing for movement other than sitting. These whiteboards can also be used for games to motivate the students and keep them engaged.
Pencils, pencils and more. Students need pencils and colored sharpies to make their annotations stand out and to write their work. The kids are always forgetting their pencils.Furthermore, we cant have pencils without a sharpener to keep the students writing. The purpose of these materials is to have the students and the teacher thriving and motivated in during lectures. My students are ready to learn and getting these material will make them thrive in their Biology classroom.
