My Project

Tables, instead of traditional desks, can offer several advantages that support the unique needs of gifted learners.

Gifted students often thrive in peer discussion and group work.

Tables naturally promote cooperative learning, brainstorming, and idea-sharing.

In addition, open space around tables can support creative problem-solving, design thinking, and exploration. GT students benefit from less rigid environments where they can take intellectual risks.

Lastly, face-to-face seating fosters verbal reasoning, questioning, and elaboration—skills central to GT instruction. Tables allow easy regrouping for activities, projects, or ability-based tasks, so that teachers can quickly shift from whole-group to small-group work.
