This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We've all experienced feeling unclean or unkempt with no immediate way to freshen up. This can lead to a negative self-image, hindering our ability to feel and perform our best. The hygiene necessities include feminine products, toothpaste, deodorant and other items will be provided to students as needed to support their success.

I am driven by a deep care for my students' well-being and academic success!

I have created an in-classroom student center called Thrive Central. This accessible space houses essentials like personal care items, snacks, hygiene products, and school supplies, all available free of charge and without question.

My goal is simple: to ensure every student has their basic needs met, removing potential barriers to learning and empowering them to THRIVE in my History classroom.
