Help me give my students new classroom supplies to help them learn! This will give us an additional wiggle seat, we use the read alouds to learn and laugh together, and students can play math games.
I teach in a growing rural community. My classroom is filled with students who come to school every day excited for a new challenge. All of my students are thoughtful, creative, and energetic. They are always eager to try new things.
Every child in my classroom loves learning!
They are learning to advocate for themselves by choosing their best learning spot around the classroom. The environment in which they learn best varies greatly from child to child. In our classroom, a variety of learning styles are supported through whole group instruction, small group work, partner work, and independent learning. This ensures that each child's needs are met. My students are an incredible group of thinkers, and I am so lucky to have a group of students who are truly excited to learn each and every day!

These materials will help students learn and grow (and have fun) in third grade!
We will add the wobble stool to our classroom collection - making them available to more than half my students! These silly read alouds will help us learn and laugh together. I personally love The Bad Seed and am looking forward to adding more from the same author and series to our classroom library (The Couch Potato, The Good Egg and The Great Eggscape). We will celebrate birthdays with stickers and gold crowns.
Students will show their learning on Colorful Dry Erase Dots that can be used during small group instruction in reading and math. This will be such a fun way for students to write equations to match their arrays, or record a new vocabulary word from their guided reading book. The wooden clothes pins will be used to hang student artwork in the hallway. The math folder games will be a welcome addition to our math stations - giving students the opportunity to independently practice their new math skills through a variety of fun games.
Although these items might seem mismatched, they will all go towards helping us build our classroom community and grow as learners in third grade.
