Thrilling Tales: Keeping High School Minds on the Edge

Help me give my students a classroom library full of suspenseful mysteries and action novels to keep them engaged and promote literacy.

My Project

Suspense literature often features complex plots and unexpected twists and turns that keep students engaged while improving literacy. As students read, they develop critical thinking, text analysis, and problem-solving skills. Suspense books are known for captivating readers with page turning storylines that may spark an interest in literature and encourage students to become avid readers.

By providing students with access to a diverse selection of suspense novels, "Thrilling Tales" will foster a love for reading while simultaneously improving literacy skills.

Students will not only see an improvement in classroom performance but will also develop skills that go beyond the classroom.

Every students should have the opportunity to explore their curiosity and creativity through books. This project seeks to give students those opportunities while also promoting academic success.
