Three-Year-Olds Love to Play and Read!

My students need board books, discovery boxes, mirror blocks and other learning games to achieve our classroom and building goals!

My Students

I am a Head Start teacher. I have a classroom full of 17 amazing little people. They come from many different backgrounds and family structures. I have many single parents raising children, I have grandparents raising their grandchildren, and I have some that have both mom and dad in their house. I also have some great grandparents that are raising great grand children.

I believe that all my students have a great ability to learn and succeed.

We are wanting to add to our table toy and manipulative collections. Our program has great resources, but we need different manipulatives and table toys that are more age specific for our three year olds.

My Project

We will be able to focus on our curriculum goals and data outcomes with these new manipulatives. We have specific goals and objectives to meet each year and these new materials will help reach those goals. The materials we have now are geared towards students going to kindergarten and we need materials that are geared towards my three year olds. I have chosen lots of color sorting, size sorting and shape sorting materials. This will help our students learn their colors and shapes, which are two of our data goals. I have chosen some board books as well to help with independent reading.
