Three Sport Warm-ups for the Year!!!

My students need sweatshirts for the girls athletic programs. This includes volleyball, basketball, and softball. This will affect girls in grades five through eight.

My Students

My girls volleyball teams are a group of tough young ladies. They have worked very hard, over the last five years, to become very focused in their athletic ability and academic performance. These girls, in grades 5-8, have managed to avoid the crime and gang violence outside of our school. Those that have graduated, are going on to play volleyball in high school, and to maintain academic superiority in their classes.

The school is a high needs elementary school.

The students there receive breakfast and lunch, and at times, afternoon snacks prior to any activity they may participate in. This includes both academic after school matter programs and interscholastic programs, such as volleyball, basketball or softball.

My Project

Donations to this project will allow my young ladies to have sweatshirts to help them be covered properly, as they travel as a team from one sport to the next, and travel from one school to the next. It'll instill pride as athletes, individual self-esteem and school branding in the neighborhood.

I believe that the girls will serve as role models to our younger students.

I have found that our third and fourth graders can't wait to become old enough to compete on the volleyball, basketball, or softball teams. As always, the girls will have the opportunity to avoid the crime, gang fights, and shootings that occur outside of the school.
