This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is aimed to build sensory regulation skills in my students. Water and sensory play are extremely beneficial for students with diverse needs. Sometimes my students become overstimulated and need soothing materials to ease their minds and bodies.
The tactile toys and tools in this project will provide opportunities for my students to calm their minds and bodies and be ready to learn.
I will use the kinetic sand, fishing rods, and water wheel to will help develop hand-eye coordination, and math and science concepts. All of the items featured in this project will help enhance language, social skills, and encourages cooperation. Thank you so much for considering donating to my young students! It means the world!
