Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school needs help celebrating student success one last time this year. Our hope is to end the school year with a "Kickoff to Summer" celebration, where we celebrate students who have met their end-of-year goals in math and ELA. The materials we're asking for actually have a double purpose. The intent is to get students outdoors and active this summer.

As William Wordsworth once wisely said, 'Let Nature be your teacher.' This quote resonates with our school's values and the importance of outdoor learning and play.

We hope our students are drawn outside to play and learn this summer.

We want to give them items like beach balls, bubbles, and sunglasses. These will help keep them active and engaged.
