This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is very big, we have close to 1,000 students. With a school this size, it is bound to get messier, the more kids, the more mess. Unfortunately our 2 very hard working custodians do not always get a chance to clean every single part of the school on a daily basis. We are scheduled to get mopped and swept once a week. However because of how much there is to do, the schedule can't always be kept.

I try to keep my room as clean as possible but it is also difficult to clean and mop every day since I prep and work on paperwork afterschool.

In order to give my students a clean and healthy environment to learn in, it is important to not only sweep but mop. This Shark vacuum would do just that for us on a daily basis. Having this vacuum will allows for a clean class room and eliminate germs thereby helping my students stay healthy and in school.

Our classroom gets extra messy and goes when we work with science materials. Last year we made slime and worked with foam and various chemicals for STEAM projects. Our class really needs a good mopping after these experiments.
