My Project
I recently acquired a sublimation printer for my classroom, and my students are beyond excited to start bringing their ideas to life! My students are interested in making hats. I am asking for a hat heat press that will allow my students to adhere their designs to the hats and wear them proudly around the school and community.
My goal is for this Donors Choose request is to not only teach my students about how products are designed, produced/manufactured, and distributed but to allow all of that to be learned through a hands on process where the students are the leaders of the projects and the classroom!
Beyond that, I also see this as an opportunity for students to express themselves in a meaningful way, giving them a positive and constructive outlet amid the many pressures they face today. I believe that hands-on, creative projects like these can play a vital role in supporting their mental well-being, building confidence, and encouraging collaboration among peers. I can’t wait to see the incredible things they will create.
