My Project
After a long day at school students are consistently looking for food. "Snack Time" would help provide healthier options for students. We all know our minds don't work if our stomachs are empty.
Good nutrition is essential for a student's success.
An empty stomach isn't anyone's friend; it makes learning more difficult, it affects concentration and hurts students' performance. We are looking for healthy snacks so students can make it through the day and have an healthy option after-school. Protein bars and apple sauce are a better alternative than fast food.
Having a cabinet full of snacks for everyone removes the stigma of hunger and allows everyone to enjoy themselves. It allows everyone to focus on learning and in fact, makes school a happier place.
