I am a first-grade and reading teacher in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are very special, and I just love going to school every day to see the sparkle in their little 5- to 8-year-old eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! My students love to read, pretend, and imagine. They are curious and love to learn! We participate in, and they love so many fun activities throughout the year, and our hope is to add even more. My students are amazing!
My Project
This item is needed badly and as soon as possible. My students and I were just quarantined and we have been working so hard on learning how to read! This IMSE Customizable K-2 Google Slides will be for the student to use to learn how to read. They will have access to our letter and sound cards, and other things that they will need to use on their Chromebooks.
Reading is just too important to let fall behind, and I want and need to continue working with my little students!
I have materials to use from my house, but I need to provide learning materials to my students so that they can engage with me. I would be starting today if I had these things in my hands already, so it is so important that we get these as soon as possible. We will do three-part drills, vowel intensive, new concepts, red words, dictation and other activities. Thank you so much for your help! This will directly affect student learning in a big way!
