This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of young ladies that we call Young Women of Purpose. This group is a safe space for my young ladies to talk about issues, take a look at how we can make positive changes in school, home, and life. I started this group in January and plan on starting next year at the beginning. This group has proven that this is needed in my building.

These girls are so special to me and I want to help celebrate them.

I have requested snacks for them (they are always hungry!), graduation gifts as they move on to middle school, and some materials to help start the group next year!

Everything I have included will be for the girls, the mouse will help me with navigating the slides better for them. The cart will hold their materials. The snacks are for when they are hungry and the materials are to use during groups!
