Our fourth-grade students are full of energy with curious minds ready to learn. Our students have a variety of learning styles which makes our learning environment unique. Our class is piloting flexible seating and it has been an adventure watching them grow as learners. Each day our students are expected to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills which can be challenging.
As 21st-century learners, they need to be computer literate which includes exposure to different kinds of technology.
My Project
Our students have been fortunate enough to have Dot and Dash Robots, by Wonder Workshop, donated by DonorsChoose. These Amazon Fire Tablets will be essential for students to download the applications required to code and program these robots. Students will become innovative designers that identify problems and develop creative solutions.
These tablets will empower learners to set personal learning goals and develop strategies, using technology, to achieve them and reflect on their personal learning process.
These Amazon Fire Tablets are versatile and can be and will be used across the curriculum to meet the needs of our 21st-Century learners.
