My Students

My PK students bring me joy because I get to see the world through the eyes of children. Everyday my students walk through the doors ready to learn and play with their friends. My students are curious and always asking questions. One of our favorite parts of the day is after nap time, where students have the choice to pick a book and read on the carpet. As a teacher I enjoy creating opportunities to expose my students to new topics and taking time to explore their interests.

My Project

My classroom includes typical furniture found in a traditional PK classroom - tables, plastic chairs and a carpet for large group meetings.

This big comfy couch would be a great addition to our classroom space.

It will provide a comfortable and alternative seating option for friends who need to relax in the peace area of our classroom. The peace area of our classroom is a place where students can go to take a break before returning to class with their teacher and friends. As a teacher I want to make sure our peace area feels safe and calm for students.
