Describe my students? Does that mean I have to write 34 paragraphs? I only ask because my students are all different in many ways. To sum it up in one word, my students are- AMAZING! When I look through my years of teaching, you see how time evolves and how the use of technology is more present. My students enjoy using the computer to enrich their minds and support them when needed. They are able to make decisions and form small groups on their own. Having them all respect each other, and myself, helps them become more comfortable to open their heart and speak their mind. Hopefully, Donorschoose.org will help me and help them, succeed in life, which is my main job as an educator.
My Project
The internet is a useful tool to help students achieve their learning goals, which will close that academic gap between grades. These items, like the index card stickers, will allow my students to set goals that are visible on their desk everyday. The lanyards, will allow students to hold different jobs in their groups and allows everyone to see what responsibilities they have. The label maker will be used for organizing enrichment group work so they understand where to look for their activity. This will help the class understand different strategies and assign jobs to group leaders and workers. and use different tools in order for them to achieve their goals. The students are wonderful and when they are finished with their work they need extra activities that they would enjoy. Unfortunately, the internet can only do so much. That's why these kits will help me enrich and focus on skills that will help them succeed in their upcoming years in school. The students are wonderful and we thank you for your generous donations!
