My Project
Hello. My name is Jennifer Gordon and I am a third-grade teacher in an inner-city school in Connecticut. My classroom consists of all English learners. Many students have recently arrived to this country and they don’t know English. Some have never been to school before. I am in need of books for beginning readers. While my students are learning English, they need practice with letter sounds, sight words, and phonics instruction. These decodable readers would be a great start to help me build a library for my students.
