I am creating this project in hopes of restocking our favorite part of our classroom, our prize shelf! We use a punch card reward system and students earn a trip to the prize shelf for hard work and good citizenship. Our facility is an older building and it has a built-in shelf that goes from the floor up. Never knowing how to utilize it, I decided I would create a prize wall. From the very first day of school, my students were mesmerized! It is their absolute favorite thing in my room, however, it is so costly to keep it filled. We are in need of Play-Doh, stress balls, novelty toys, and keychains to replenish our shelf.
I want students to feel loved, valued, and appreciated in our classroom.
I want to build a community within these walls. I want to show them that hard work and good character pays off. I would love to launch a rocket quickly so that I can continue with our punch card reward system. Thank you for taking the time to check out our project and believing in our classroom!
