Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is my fourth year teaching and my third year teaching third grade. I really enjoy teaching this grade because I truly believe my third-grade teacher changed my life. I work at a designated school, which means over 90 percent of our students come from low-income families. I want to inspire my students how my third-grade teacher inspired me. She was so inspiring and bright. Her classroom was colorful, warming, comfortable, and loving. Every time I walked into her classroom I felt safe and welcomed. I want my students every year to feel the same!
My Project
The materials in my cart will make a difference in my students' learning by providing them with the materials they need to succeed. My students are so talented and I don't want their talent to go unseen. I want my third-grade students to know that there are supplies available for them whenever they want. I don't want parents to struggle over school supplies they can't afford. My classroom is full of amazing creative students that are ready to explore their creativity! I can't wait to see their beautiful, colorful creations!
