My Project

I'm a 3rd grade teacher within Chicago Public Schools and I’m excited to kick off this school year with a classroom designed for discovery learning. My goal is to create a space that supports our diverse group of students, who come from a variety of cultural backgrounds and have unique learning styles. Last year, I witnessed firsthand how 3rd graders are naturally curious and full of energy. They love to explore and create, and this year, I’m committed to building on that enthusiasm with new STEM resources.

Let's build a classroom community that encourages mistake making and risk taking!

With your support, our 3rd graders will have the tools they need to dive into math and science with confidence. Most of all, I'm excited to bring students hands on science magazines; there is nothing more exciting than getting a tangible gift in the mail to explore. I’m looking to add materials that will help them master fractions, measurement, geometry, counting money, and telling time. In addition, the building blocks, puzzles, and gravity maze will foster creativity and problem-solving skills. Thank you for helping us make this vision a reality!
