My Students
I teach a delightful group of third graders. They are kind-hearted and funny. They enjoy and are dedicated to learning language and math each day, but our special love and excitement comes from studying science.
My amazing third grade scientists are so engaged and curious about the world around them.
All day, every day they are full of questions. How? Why? What if? They want to explore it all! I would love to be able to provide them with more opportunities.
My Project
My third grade students love exploring the world around them, asking and answering questions all day long. I would love for them to have a variety of magnets with which to experiment and explore. NGSS 3-PS2-3
At this time, it's especially important for me to be able to provide the students with individual materials so we can all have a safe, interesting, hands-on exploration.
I would also like to expand the nonfiction science reading materials in my classroom library with a wide variety of topics and reading levels. ELA RI.3.1
