As this year comes to a close, I am already starting to look ahead to what items will be helpful for next year's third graders! This was my first year in third grade and I learned a lot (despite it being my 10th year teaching!). Reflecting on how this year went, I have an idea of what would be helpful moving forward into next year with a new group of third graders. My project includes items such as workbooks that I can use to provide important independent practice for students. The social cubes would be an amazing tool for our morning meetings. Storage bins help keep items that students use nice and organized. It keeps our classroom neat and tidy as well as teaches organization skills. The number flip chart will be used as a "number of the day" to reinforce place value, how numbers are represented, and so on.
